MN Thunder Mission Statement 

Our mission is to empower young athletes through competitive club softball by fostering a culture of teamwork, discipline, sportsmanship, and personal growth. 

We are committed to providing high-level training, strong mentorship, and opportunities that challenge our players both on and off the field. Through dedication, respect, and love for the game, we aim to develop confident athletes who strive for excellence and represent our team, community, and sport with 

pride. 

We’re excited to begin an incredible season with a dedicated group of athletes. 

This team is poised to demonstrate outstanding sportsmanship, teamwork, and a true love for the game—on and off the field. We’re looking forward to a season filled with learning, laughter, and great competition. Let’s make it one to remember.

October- Pink Out Iowa 2nd-4th & MFA Trick Or Treat 11th 

January- MLK Day Dome 18th 

February- Presidents Day Dome 15th 

March through May- School Softball 

June- Maddy Nelson (Cambridge), Zimmerman Classic, & 2 USSSA Tournaments

Cost: $1200

To conclude, we are aiming to attract players who are looking to compete against the best teams. We provide a year-round season that starts in the fall and includes a full schedule of practices, off-season training and both local and out of state tournaments. 

Coach Selection Process:

Our coaching staff is carefully selected based on their experience, knowledge of the game, and dedication to player development. Each coach brings a unique set of strengths, including prior coaching experience, playing background,l eadership ability, and a shared commitment to teaching softball fundamentals the right way. 

We looked for individuals who: 

• Demonstrate strong communication and leadership skills 

• Emphasize positive, constructive coaching methods 

• Value sportsmanship, teamwork, and player growth 

• Are committed to fostering a competitive but supportive team environment 

• Have a clear understanding of age-appropriate skill development 

The selection process includes reviewing coaching resumes, observing interactions with players, and ensuring alignment with our program’s values and long-term vision. We are confident that our coaching staff will create a positive impact both on and off the field. MN Thunder coaches are focused and committed to helping create this environment and opportunity for the players
