Summer Season 6U-14U
Season
Games typically start in early May for 8U to 14U. All other teams start in June.
Play goes into July with a potential for tournaments in August for teams qualifying for an additional tournament.
Travel
6U and 8U can expect to travel to nearby surrounding communities, including but not limited to Becker, Elk River, Big Lake, Princeton, and Zimmerman.
10U-18U leagues are travel leagues and they will travel to mainly NW metro locations, however, there may be some significant travel for games depending on the number of teams in the league.
Practices
Practice times are determined by the coaches and field availability. Generally we will have practices on the fields here in Zimmerman, however, we also may have some in Elk River on fields there as the School primarily determines the availability of the fields.

Open Gym & Uniform Fitting:
March 7th, 2026: OPEN GYM & Uniform fitting
* Uniform Fitting/Softball Open Gym & Swap meet donation drop-off.
All players 8U and older must attend uniform fitting (parents must attend). Players should bring their softball gear if they choose to participate in the open gym.
8U & 10U 10am-12pm
12U & 14U 12pm-2pm
Location: ZHS
*Volunteer Commitment Checks in the amount of $400 must be turned in at this event.
Try Out Schedule: March 8th, 2026
Please notify the board prior to tryouts if your daughter intends to try out for an older team and attend BOTH try out times.
Tryouts for all players 8U and up
Players who plan to be a pitcher/catcher must attend the pitcher/catcher tryout.
Volunteer checks must be submitted for your player to participate in try-outs
